Playing this game is very simple, before each match you should predict the result of the match.
1. If you guess the winner correctly, or you guess the tie correctly you'll get three points.
2. If you guess the difference of the goals correctly you'll get 1 extra point.
3. If you guess the result exactly, you'll get 1 extra point.
So from each match you could get up to 5 points. Each round has it's own factor as follows:
The factor of round of 16 is 1, the factor of quarter final is 3, the factor of semi final 5, and the factor of the final is 9.
The scores of each round will be multiplied by the factor of that round. So the more important the match is, the more score you could get. for example, for each match of quarter final, you could get up to 5*3=15 points.
You have to guess the result of the match one day before the match takes place. The date of this system is based on Pacific Standard Time (PST), so as long as the date based on this time zone is before the date of the match you can enter your predictions. For example the match between Portugal and Turkey takes place on Saturday 7 June 2008, so you can enter your prediction for this match before this date based on PST time zone. you can repredict before the match and change your prediction.
Example: lets assume the result of the match Portugal vs. Turkey is 2-0
If you guessed 1-1 => you get no points
If you guessed 1-0 => you get 3 points
If you guessed 2-0 => you get 5 points
If you guessed 3-1 => you get 4 points
At the end, the user who has the most points is the winner.
